Cool... Nice tip

Here, whatever I am using are deep frozen only... I initially thought its not good for health and will have no nutrition value. But its not true.

But when u store, it is better to store in a air tight container instead of a loose pack for the items to be as it is for a longer period.

Nice tip viji.

I am storing Tamarind paste, which is boiled and prepared at home, in the freezer, in the zip lock cover. We can store this for 30 days.

This will be very useful for making Sambar or Rasam very quickly.

We can keep Parupu Usiliyal batter after cooking and store it in the freezer, in the zip lock cover. This you can store upto a week.

Store lemon juice in the Ice cube tray and use it when ever needed. Can store for 15 days.

Thanks Meera,

Can you write up a new post on how to prepare Tamarind paste. It will be helpful for guys like me Smile

I am cooking onion with tomato and keeping it in the fridge for a week. Whenever I require any of these 2 combinations, then I will use the already prepared one. Generally I will fry dhaal with cumin & mustard seeds and use this mixture and tomato rice is ready within 2 min Wink
